Thanks to his partnership with Innov'Vie and Sens Ô Riel, the international racer Christophe Tinseau will compete in the 2006 French Carrera Cup Trophy with the new Porsche 997 Cup and Daniel Droit Racing team.

The 37 year old, originary from the Centre of France has a huge racing experience, having successfully raced in single seaters, endurance and even Rally-Raids. The ex-3000 race winner with Apomatox and works driver for Dams, Cadillac or Oreca drove in the last years in different endurance series in Europe and in the US (LMES, ALMS, Grand Am, Fia GT, Le Mans 24 hours).

“I am really happy to have this opportunity to run the new 997. For me and my partenrs, our goal is the one: to win the Trophy. I know that it will not be easy and that the battle will be very tough. I haven’t raced sprint events since a while but it will be great to find this spirit again” said Christophe.

The CEO of the Innov'Vie Group: "Our passion for cars, racing and humans has brought us naturally to link our companies Innov'Vie and Sens Ô Riel at this tremendous adventure."

As for Daniel Droit, the team manager, he didn’t miss the chance to show his enjoyment: “Christophe is a top driver with a huge racing experience. He can bring a lot to the team from his international experience and this could obviously help us working on the car’s setup and development. As with the brand new cars everyone will start at the same level. We will do our best to be on top this year”.

The first two rounds of the French Carrera Cup will take place at mid-April at Nogaro at the same time with the French GT and the French Formula Renault (Super Série FFSA).
